The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA, Akbaruddin Owaisi's judicial remand has been extended till February 05. The leader who was arrested by the police for his 'hate speech' was sent to custody by the Nirmal court that ended today (January 22). In the early hours the Chandrayangutta MLA was taken to the court.
The Nirmal court extended the judicial custody for another two weeks. He was taken back to the Adilabad district prison where he had been lodged since his arrest. The leaders was alleged to have made a 'hate speech', at Jalsa in Nirmal town, earlier, which might trigger tensions amidst communities.
In another incident the MIM MP, Asaduddin Owaisi also surrendered yesterday to a Sangareddy Court in Medak district. The case pertains to another speech made by the senior in 2005. Responding to the case, a NBW was issued then. (Wishesh AarKay)
