The magnum opus from Dr Kamal Haasan, Viswaroopam, has been released across global theaters except in Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad (only for a day) as some Muslim associations have appealed for the ban on the film which showed them in bad light.
Nothing much could be done in spite of the director cum producer Kamal appealing in the Madras High Court. While the Tamil Nadu Government deferred the release date, the apex court also agreed with the same. The film would be released only after getting a clean chit from the special committee in the home state.
However Hyderabad needs to wait for another day due to the same reasons. As the movie hits the screens across the state only the capital is not on its calender, for the first day.
The technical caper is filled with action and thrills, it has already won the hearts of the first show audience.
Viswaroopam made on a massive budgets is sure to rake in double dividends, claim analysts. Kamal's prowess has once again been proved. (Wishesh AarKay)
