Son-in-law of megastar and central minister Chiranjeevi, Sirish Bharadwaj has joined BJP. The party senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya welcomed him. Sirisha Bharadwaj entered into headlines a couple of years ago by marrying Chiranjeevi's daughter without apparently informing him. Later, the couple got separated over alleged dowry harassment. After that, Sirish Bharadwaj appeared in censor board. He was, however, apparently reluctant to speak anything about the separation.

In fact, Sirish Bharadwaj was earlier spotted visited the residences of YSRC leaders that gave raise to speculations that he might join YSRC. On contrary, he shocked everyone by joining BJP. Since BJP is presumably against Chiranjeevi as latter being the party of arch-rivals of BJP, the observers said that BJP might make use of Sirish Bharadwaj to counter Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi is already a central minister and there is obviously no fault of Chiranjeevi in whatever the personal episode that came became public. So, if we have to go by the buzz, Sirish Bharadwaj will not be successful if his only motive is to take on Chiranjeevi.
