Megastar Chiranjeevi - the moment this name is uttered, what people of entire country recalls is oh! He's a Telugu man and the one who had been life and breath of Telugu Cinema. In fact, when Telugu Cinema unwraps its history, the name that would first strike anyone's eyes is Chiranjeevi as it's been etched in golden letters. Chiranjeevi and Telugu Cinema are inseparable. On the eve of Indian Cinema completing its 100 years of existence has prepared a list of people/actors who have changed the outlook of Indian Cinema. While many people from many film industry entered the list, it was only Chiranjeevi who happened to be a man from Tollywood who entered CNN IBN list.

This is what CNN-IBN said:

"Biggest star of Telugu cinema, Chiranjeevi started his career playing the antagonist in few films and slowly started playing the lead. By the mid 1980s, Chiranjeevi was the undisputed king of Telugu cinema."

It is definitely a matter of pridde that Chiranjeevi is from Tollywood and Telugu people were fortunate enough that they  got a chance to see hundreds of movies of this megastar.
