TDP leader Lokesh Naidu has taken to the state in Chittor district as he chose to slam Congress party for hindering the growth of the state while emphasizing that the total growth in the state was witnessed only during the TDP ruling under the rule of his father N Chandrababu Naidu. Slamming the ruling government, he said that there was no security under Congress' rule. Talking about the belt shops in the city, he said with the government permitting shops on every street, it couldn't care less for the health and welfare of the families in the state he woed.
While the power is being charged higher than usual, people are being deprived of power for 4 hrs a day, he complained. Touring Kuppam today on Thursday, Lokesh Naidu said that Kuppam was once the choice for many industrialists for their factories or units but today they are fleeing from the place with the prices in mind. This price hike was realized only during the congress times he added.
Talking about the poorer and backward sections of the society, the government is not taking up any special measures to ensure that they can lead their lives in peace and equality. Stressing that there were no major facilities like education and job opportunities, the Congress has not been attending to their true needs he said. He promised that their party would spend as much as Rs 150 cr on Kuppam to develop the place, if they came into power. He concluded saying that it was his father who believed that the people should elect only that leader who is capable of doing good to the poorer section of the state.
