While Congress party was serious of cracking its whips against rebel MLAs, another MLA from the party, Srisailam meeting YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy at jail is becoming a hot topic now. Srisailam Goud is a legislator from Qutbullapur. Although he was an independent candidate, he joined Congress later. Whether the Congress disqualification notice will be applicable to him or not is a big question because Srisailam won as an independent candidate in 2009 and not on Congress ticket.

The sources said that Srisailam was not happy with many things in the party and therefore he has decided to join YSR Congress. It looks like Chanchalguda jail is becoming a regular place of visit for MLAs, said observers. They even said that Jagan has been steering YSRC sitting in jail. While some Congress leaders are willing to join YSRC, not to forget that a few others in YSRC are reportedly not happy that their problems are not being addressed. Anyway, AP politics have certainly turned as interesting as UP politics.
