The close aide of late YS Rajashekara Reddy, KVP Ramachandra Rao is going to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation in a short while from now. Notably, CBI earlier sought information about the role KVP played in the government during YSR's regime. And on Friday, it served summons on him directing him for appearing before them today. Just like how Jagan appeared, KVP will also meet CBI sleuths at Dil Kusha Guest House.

It has to be mentioned here that another close aide and follower of YSR, Sureedu gave a statement to CBI apparently, which made CBI to suspect KVP's role in illegal assets case. It is known that CBI has been trying Jagan's illegal assets case. Therefore, CBI has geared up to grill even KVP. The sources said that KVP's statement is going to be video recorded.
