Payyavula Keshav a senior Telugu Desam Party leader mentioned that the Congress was being meaningless with its criticism against the agitation over power problem by the opposing parties.

On Wednesday he took to the mic at a fast camp of the TDP leaders in MLA quarters saying that the government had no real answers to their questions. TDP was questioning the power problem issues in the state for which Congress provided no solution or answer. Keshav mentioned that they wanted to talk to the people directly about the issue and hence a fast camp. He also challenged Congress to come out in the public for an open debate.

Among the participants in the fast were TDP MLAs Devineni Uma Mahesara Rao, Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, Jaipal Yadav, mahender Reddy, Dhoolipala narendra, Palle Raghunath Reddy, Mandava Venkateswara Rao MP Gundu Sudharani. Members or the CPI and CPI (M) like MLA Julakanti Ranga Reddy, MLA Gunda Mallesh among others supported TDP fast.
