Film actor and director Raghava Lawrence became another personality who took on the approach of TTD officials. Mr Lawrence who sought the blessings of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy this morning complained to the media that he was being ill treated at sanctum by the temple officials. Further, he allegedly said that TTD officials were not moving properly with the devotees.
Devotees complain of TTD officials:
It's not just Lawrence but almost all devotees who seek blessings of Lord in various queue lines complain that they are being pushed away rudely by the volunteers in the sanctum, which barely gives them a chance to have glimpse of the God for at least one minute.
Opportunity to all devotees:
Meanwhile, TTD officials mentioned that the reason why they make devotees was not due to lack of lack of respect towards them. They said lakhs of people will be waiting in queue lines and to ensure that everyone will get a chance to seek blessings of the deity, we will have to make devotees move at a faster pace.
Devotees and observers said that a better token system like Vaishno Devi temple should be introduced by TTD officials so that devotees can have good glimpse of the deity. All in all, with ever increasing rush at Tirumala, TTD should really focus on implementing new models of having darshan.
