Good morning to all the devotees of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy. Today being Saturday, we know that it's so special to you as it's one day that's specially dedicated to Lord Balaji. The rush in Tirumala is moderate. As many as 12 queue compartments are filled with devotees. To those who are seeking blessings of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy through sarva darshanam (free), it's taking around seven hours to have glimpse of the deity.
Those who are entering special darshan (pratyeka pravesha darshanam-Rs. 300 tickets without any advance booking), it's taking around three hours to enter sanctorum and the pilgrims taking pedestrian path to Tirumala can have darshan in just two hours.
Metlotsavam:
On the eve of Saint Annamacharya's birth anniversary yesterday, TTD grandly celebrated Metlotsavam. A large number of devotees from neighbouring states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have also taken part in this eve. Nearly 60,000 devotees sought blessings of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy on Friday.
