YSRCP woos Sabita and Dharmana to join

It is learnt that Roads and Building Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao submitted his resignation letter to CM Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday. Sources reported that the Home Minister has also pitched in her letter to the same effect.

This decision comes a long time after the CBI has mentioned these both ministers as the accused in Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress President, disproportionate assets case. Sabita was also summoned by the court to be present at a hearing on June 7th in connection to the case. So it is believed that, to save them the embarassment, the duo retired in the interests of the Congress government.

During the rule of YSR, Sabita Indra Reddy was the Mines Minister who allotted leases to cement companies who invested their earnings in Jaganmohan's businesses. In the fifth Chargesheet CBI mentioned Sabita and in the earlier iteration mentioned Dharmana alleging that they facilitated the transfer of land to Nimmagadda Prasad to build a port.

Now with both of them out of power and position, YSR Congress has chosen "carpediem" as their strategy, sources say. Jagan Mohan Reddy's party YSRC has made it its mission to get the estranged leaders on board their party offerring shelter to the “home”less.

Dharmana Prasada Rao is already associated with YSRC by means of his brother who is already a part of the YSR Congress. Will the brothers join hands under the shade of the same party? Will Sabita Indira Reddy who was conferred several benefits by YSR, join the party of his son?
