Today being seventh day of the Tirupati Govindaraja Swamy Brahmotsavams, Swamy mounted on Suryaprabha the Sun vehicle gave darshan to devotees.  

Incidentally, Sun today is sending hot ways on to the Earth right from the early hours of the morning and made the atmosphere with unbearable heat by 10.00 am.  Ramagundam recorded 46o of maximum temperature that is highest in the State.

Govindaraja Swamy’s sitting on Surya Prabha with Abhaya Hasta symbolically assures the devotees that the Sun will be controlled by the deity and they will be protected from the heat.  Govindaraja Swamy is going to ride Chandra Prabha in the evening.  

Devotees came out to have darshan of the Swamy and to offer arthi with camphor.
