The senior leader of Congress Party T.Subbarama Reddy who has an attachment with Visakhapatnam wants to come back to his own constituency in the coming elections particularly after the defeat at Nellore in the by-polls in 2012.  Mekapati Rajamohana Reddy of YSRCP won from Nellore with a thumping majority in the by-elections in Nellore Constituency.  As there are still no chances of winning from Nellore, TSR wants to contest only from Visakhapatnam but not from Nellore in any case.

He has been declaring whenever he could get a chance that he already talked to Sonia Gandhi and as per her approval he will be contesting from Vizag.  As this talk reached Daggubati Purandheswari who is an MP and Union Minister representing Visakhapatnam, she reacted through her husband Daggubati Venkateswara Rao.  Daggubati called TSR a black marketer of cement at Nagarjuna Sagar project and also said that he invites old film actors who are totally free without any film offers to praise them and get praised back in return.

TSR said that it is up to the high command to decide but again fearing that he may be asked to contest from Nellore again, he announced that he will not contest from Nellore.  He is interested in contesting only from Visakhapatnam to develop the constituency.  He said that Daggubatis do not even the boundaries of Visakhapatnam.  He suggests that Purandheswari should go to Narsapur constituency.  He said that Daggubati Venkateswara Rao seems to have gone out of his mind to make such comments on him who is only a lad when he was working at Nagarjuna Sagar project.  He suggested Daggubati to learn from his wife how to behave with dignity.
