Former Minister Shankara Rao says that the woman claiming to be his daughter-in-law and accusing him of harassing her is wrong.  Shankara Rao further says that she eloped with a driver 3 years ago and now making false accusations.  

Vamsi Priya who moved the High Court for the harassments she was subjected to by her father in law Sharnkara Rao and husband Shashank complained that she already filed complaints with the police but they ignored them and her father-in-law being a Minister of the State had been managing the police.  In response to her petition High Court sent notices to Shankara Rao, Shashank, DGP and Women’s police station concerned.

Shankar Rao says that it is a conspiracy against him as he is actively participating in the Telangana movement and as he brought the illegal transportation of red sandal wood to light in which the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is involved.   He also warned that the party will be buried in the region of Telangana if the attitude of Congress party continues like this.
