Dharmana And Sabita's Remand

In the case of CBI's petition asking for the remand of the former Ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy, CBI special court adjourned the matter to July 1.

CBI's plea is that the former Ministers talk to the media is giving wrong signals and making hurdles in the investigation in to their involvement in YS Jagan's disproportionate assets case.

Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy on their resignations from their ministries talked to the media representatives and told them that they are innocents and as such they will come out clean.  They also requested media persons not to call them tainted ministers as the allegation is not proved.

When CBI argued that their statements are objectionable and they should be kept in remand in order to stop them from making such comments in future, the former Ministers demanded submission of total conversation without editing, but not the one that is downloaded from U-Tube.

CBI today submitted the CDs to the Court and the court posted further proceeding to July 1.
