YSRCP MLAs quit for a united Andhra

Several YSRCP MLAs had resigned from their posts in support of a Samikyandhra. MLAs Adinarayana Reddy, Srikanth Reddy and Srinivasulu had quit to draw attention to the need of a united Andhra.

Also, MLCs Narayana Reddy and Battala Pullayya handed in their resignation letters, bringing the spotlight back on YSRCP in fighting for the cause. The party is at the forefront in the Seemandhra region against a bifurcation, besides Congress and TDP.

Taking a lead, YSRCP representatives condemned UPA's move to create a Rayala Telangana, which would still split the state. Several leaders put up their resignations and offered them to the Samaikynahdra JAC chairman, saying no one has the right to take a decision on the state's fate.
