AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh who has been talking for a week about a solution to the Telangana issue that will be amicable and acceptable to all, yesterday made some remarks that made the suspense grow more and intense.  

Digvijay says that the issue of Telangana cannot be kept pending anymore.  So a good solution will be reached for which all the exercises are being done.  Today the core committee of Congress party is going to take a decision about the division of the State as per Digvijay Singh.  But with some conditions-

After reviewing the road maps the three leaders asked to bring on, Telangana core committee that is going to meet that will be presided over by the AICC President Sonia Gandhi in the evening will discuss on the issue in which the leaders can present their views.  The three leaders of the Congress Party in the State are Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Deputy CM Damodara Raja Narasimha and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana.

All this is ok, but the last part Digvijay Singh said was that an amendment in the Constitution may be required to effect the division that threw vibes in the Congress Party leaders also.

TDP, BJP, YSRCP became skeptical about the whole affair.  They call it another farce in the wake of Panchayat elections.  They are in the opinion that the AICC is searching for ways to dodge the issue again.
