P V Ranga Rao, the first son of India's first Telugu Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao, is no more. He passed away after suffering a heart attack at his house in Himayatnagar on Thursday, 1st August.
The MLA was 75 years old at the time of his death and is not survived by any family due to his choice to remain a bachelor. P V Ranga Rao had been ailing from an illness since a long time. He was an elected MLA from the Hanamkonda constituency in Telangana.
During his stint as part of the late YS Rajsekhar Reddy's government, he was a trusted adviser to the CM. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, the last CM of United Andhra Pradesh, and TDP President Chandrababu Naidu paid their condolences, along with other important politicians.
