Private buses from Tirupati stand canceled from today as the Tirupati Travels Association is joining the Samaikyhandhra movement from today.

Buses plying towards Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam are now canceled, with those in the association protesting for a United Andhra Pradesh. Ticket fares of prior reservations also stand canceled  and those who have reservations will be reimbursed.

Protests against the Center's decision to bifurcate the state have provoked widespread protests across Seemandhra. With government employees also joining the protests, regular life is hit. The protests have no signs of dying down unless the Congress government comes up with a foolproof plan that will take into account the interests of both Telangana and Seemandhra.
