After much patience practiced from his side while the state is splitting, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy could not keep mum anymore. He has reached the end of his limits with Congress, seeing as how the party is handling the bifurcation.
Taking an indirect dig at the high command, Kiran Kumar lashed out that the party will surely face the consequences of taking such a decision. Reminding the leadership of the ongoing Seemandhra protests, the CM has openly pointed out that this is a great democracy, where the government works for the people's betterment and not the other way around.
Speaking at the Matrubhasha Dinotsavam meet, he noted that the decision to stay with a party is ultimately up to the people and that the party should observe caution while taking a sensitive decision such as this. Unequal justice to various sections of the Telugu speaking communities is making Kiran's head into a pressure cooker threatening to burst. Needless to say, Sonia is speechless for now.
“Telugu people, love for the language and its development has taken a backseat due to the current troubles plaguing the state,” Kiran Kumar commented. He added that we have to take the Telugu culture forward, keeping in mind our children.
The video below catches the gist of Kiran Kumar's displeasure with the high command.
