Khairatabad that is famous in Hyderabad for conducting Ganesh festival with different get ups of Ganesh every year with largest laddu in hand specially made at Tepeswaram this time graced devotees as 59 feet tall Gonaga Chaturmukha Ganesh this year.
As yesterday was the last Sunday before the event of immersion of the idol called Nimajjanam, devotees thronged in large numbers. As the place is reachable by MMTC, the station was also crowded to the brim.
It is customary to visit Khairatabad Ganesh in Hyderabad for which devotees come from the districts of not only Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts but also from nearest districts. The slogans in praise of the deity rented the air in the place. People of all ages like to visit Khairatabad Ganesh at least once during the festival.
