Today the Chief Minsiter of Gujarat celebrated his first birthday as a leader of National prominence as BJP made announcement that he will be the party’s Prime Minister Candidate contesting in the coming elections.
It is his 63rd birthday. Narendra Modi who joined BJP as a party worker gradually climbed the party ladder to become Chief Minister of Gujarat. He achieved overall development in the State and proved as a successful administrator. With it he could give assurance to BJP that he can deliver goods and get BJP the ruling whip it lost to Congress party.
L.K.Advani who showed indications of displeasure for the talk of Modi’s popularity at national level also compromised and wished Modi on his birthday.
Modi’s birthday is celebrated by his followers at many places. BJP partymen celebrated Modi’s birthday in Gujarat. A special puja is performed in Jagannadha Temple at Ahmedabad. Speacial prayers were done at Maheem Dargah at Mumbai by BJP minority cell. Muslim supporters celebrated by cutting a 63 Kgs cake.
On the occasion Narendra Modi first took blessings of his mother and then went to meet Keshubhai Patel a senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Gujarat.
