The State Minister for Major Industries Geeta Reddy met the Chief Minsiter Kiran Kumar Reddy Tuesday evening to discuss about the issue of her resignation as her name appeared in the charge sheet filed by the CBI. As Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy already resigned after their names were mentioned in the charge sheets, Geeta Reddy has no other option excepting resigning soon after the CBI Court takes cognizance of the Charge Sheets.
Six Ministers are involved in the 26 GOs passed in which the beneficiary companies invested in the companies of YS Jagan as quid pro quo.
It is a blow to the political career of Geeta Reddy as some in the political circles opine as she has bright chances of getting Chief Ministry for new carved out State of Telangana when it becomes reality.
