The Public Interest Litigation filed in the High Court challenging the Government's decision to bifurcate the State Andhra Pradesh has come for the hearing today.
The High Court expressed its opinion that the Court cannot interfere at this time as the decision is already taken by the Government in that direction.
But the petitioner argued that the decision is against the Constitution of India for which he has the all the corroborating facts to prove it.
Then the court adjourned to hearing to tomorrow to hear the arguments of the petitioner.
Previous PIL by PV Krishnaiah a practicing advocate challenging the decision of the Cabinet on 3rd October was rejected by the High court bench comprising of Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice K C Bhanu on 8th October on the grounds that the Court has no authority to interfere in the Constitutional powers vested with the Parliament.
