30 died in Bangalore Hyderabad Volvo Bus Caught Fire at Kothakota

A private Volvo bus travelling from Bangalore to Hyderabad caught fire at Kothakota in Mahaboobnagar district.  

The fire broke when the bus hit the road divider at 5.00 am today when the bus reached Juverla village in Kothakota Mandal.  The locals witnessed the mishap narrated that the diesel tank of the bus was broken when it hit the road divider and instantly flames caught the bus.

Out of 41 passengers in the bus, five persons escaped the wrath of it along with the driver and cleaner of the bus.  30 passengers were charred in the fire before they knew what was happening.  The wounded were admitted in the government hospital at Wanaparthy initially and then they are shifted to Appolo hospital at Hyderabad.  

The Volvo bus belongs to Jabbar Travels registration number of which is AP02PA0963.  Driver and cleaner flew from the spot.  The accident caused traffic jam at Kothakota and for kilometers on both the sides of the highway vehicles stood still for hours.
