The Chief Minister Kirana Kumar Reddy asked GoM to give a financial package to Telangana region instead inviting problems to the State by bifurcating it. He talked to GoM on Monday for more than one hour and reiterated that many problems will rise if the State is bifurcated like Naxalism, water, power, education, employment, Hyderabad and 371 D.
He said that in the process of solving a problem so many problems should not be invited as said by Indira Gandhi. Instead of that, Kiran Kumar advocates, a financial package of one lakh crores or more can be given to Telangana region.
Kiran Kumar Reddy said that as a Chief Minister of the State he has a right to give his opinion for which he doesn’t need Cabinet approval. He did not reveal the debate on 11 points asked by the GoM. But he said that the GoM asked him what is the problem to him when all Central Ministers also agreed for bifurcation for which he answered that he knows the problems of the State better as Chief Minister of the State than any other.
