Telangana Congress leaders are keen on building a temple for Sonia and arrange for regular worshipping. A make shift temple constructed at Karimnagar with vinyl boards are to be made a permanent temple as Telangana Congress leaders want it done in gratification and gratitude towards Sonia Gandhi for going ahead with a determined process of formation of Telangana in spite of opposition from Seemandhra leaders, Ministers and also Chief Minister.
The make shift temple at Karimnagar was demolished by BJP activists as police say. The activists caused the demolition were arrested by the Police.
On the contrary Sonia Gandhi’s last rites were performed and a tomb was made by the Seemandhra people during their agitation. They are continuously opposing Sonia Gandhis’ decision and her adamantly going ahead with the process of bifurcation unmindful of the protests of Seemandhra people.
Former Minister of the State, Shankara Rao laid a foundation stone for the temple of Sonia Gandhi at Nandigama in Kothur Mandal in Mahaboobnagar district.
