Social activist and solitary fighter against corruption, Anna Hazare says that the results in four Assembly elections results indicate the anger of the people on UPA Government's uncontrolled corruption.
"The results of four Assembly polls have shown that people are angry against the present ruling alliance headed by Congress, especially on uncontrolled corruption, not passing the Janlokpal Bill and basic issues affecting the common man," Hazare told PTI.
Anna Hazare praised the voters as matured enough to give a verdict of that sort to the Congress party.
Anna Hazare is going to start his indefinite hunger strike for a strong Lokpal Bill from Tuesday onwards. As the place is not important for him as a national figure now, he planned to do it at his native place Ralegan Siddhi village in Maharashtra. He will be covered where ever he plans a program and it obviates a convincing application to the authorities if it is conducted in the metropolitan cities.
He criticized that the Government lacks determination to end the corruption in the country and now the time has come to fulfill its commitment or leave. He questions when the Prime Minister could focus on the Communal Violence Bill then how can he not do the same with anti-graft law which is long delayed?
