President Pranab Mukherjee is going to stay at Hyderabad till 31st December at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bollaram.

The President will attend all of his scheduled programs in the state and other states by going from here and coming back after the programs are over.

It has become a testing time for the security personnel as the tensions due to the Telangana Bill is high in the state. The police have already done drill to rehearse the security arrangements in the city. The city Commissioner Anurag Sharma said that 30 platoons of the forces are being used for the security of the President. Due to security reasons the landing of the flight of the President has been shifted from usual Begumpet airport to Hakimpet airport. From there the President will reach his place of stay at Bollaram.

The President will attend some functions at Chennai and Kerala and come back to Hyderabad during his two weeks’ stay at Hyderabad.  He will attend the scheduled programs at Hyderabad by chopper.
