Last Day Of Assembly Winter Sessions

Today is be the last day of the winter sessions of the Assembly and the Council.

The Assembly could not do any business during the winter sessions till now except introducing the State Reorganization Bill 2013 sent by the Union Home Ministry duly approved by the President for sending it to the Assembly to respond after discussions on each and every aspect in the bill in the Assembly.

As the protests for and against the bill mounted in the Assembly and the Council in addition to the scuffles outside the Assembly, the bill introduced also could not be debated in the two houses.

Today being the last day of the winter sessions as it will be announced by the Speaker Nadendla Manohar, the bill may come for the discussion if amicable atmosphere exists in the Assembly and the Council.

After today’s adjournment the Assembly sessions will take place between January 3 and 10. Then later The Assembly will meet either on 15 or 16 depending on the Kanuma festival’s occurance and it may continue till January 23 as the time given by the President for sending the bill back ends on that date.
