Telangana issue troubled the Telugu Desam Party more than any party in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Even after declaring its stand of Telangana, the party has suffered a lot in both the regions and in addition to this, still all the political parties accuse TDP. To counter attack other parties, Telangana leaders from TDP established a Forum and they supported and stressed the need of separate state. After the government of India initiating the Telangana statehood, Seemandhra TDP leaders were quite unhappy and displayed their protest in all platforms.

So far Seemandhra TDP leaders met quite a few people who can stall the Telangana process, agitated in Assembly sessions and also approached the Supreme Court. But the unity among the leaders lacked and several leaders opined the same thing. After hectic discussions on this, Seemandhra leaders zeroed upon to form a Forum just as the Telangana leaders did.

Payyavula Keshav, Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and few more leaders took the lead to form a Forum so that they can counter attack all the parties who are accusing TDP. On Sunday, Seemandhra leaders who met President Pranab Mukherjee submitted a 6 pages letter in the form of Forum for United Anddhra Pradesh also.
