The Engineer in Assam Bathula Ankamma Rao who was kidnapped by the Bodo extremists on December 22 was released by them.
The extremists left him from where they have picked him up. Ankamma Rao is working for Bolineni Srinaiah Company engaged in the power lines laying work for a power grid corporation in Assam.
Ankamma Rao's native place is Ramakrishnapuram in Chirala mandal, Prakash district. He phoned his home and talked to his family members to tell them that he is safe. His wife and children are living in Bedda Jagarlamudi in Yaddanpudi Mandal Prakashm district.
