Osmania University JAC Students protested at the office of Jabbar Travels at Lakdikapul Hyderabad. They demanded immediate payment of compensation to the family members of the 45 passengers died when the Volvo bus operated by the travels caught fire on October 30, 2013.
They also expressed their concern for the RTA constable injured in the morning today when the bus of Jabbar Travels was not stopped but sped away avoiding the RTA check.
They demanded the unruly travel operator’s activities be closed by the Government. The students reached there without notice tried to damage the shutter of the office. Police intervened and took away the students in agitation after arresting them.
