Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has recommended for President's Rule in Delhi as Arvind Kejriwal resigned to his post yesterday. Jung also rejected the recommendations of Kejriwal to dissolve the Assembly and move for fresh elections. In addition to this Jung consulted BJP who have won maximum seats in the elections to form government but they have refused to do so. Without any further option the Delhi Assembly now will be in suspended animation till any party comes forward to form government with clear majority.
Meanwhile the Aam Admi Party, on Saturday announced its nationwide anti-corruption campaign called the 'Jhadhoo Yatra'. This campaign will start on February 23rd where AAP candidates are likely to contest in the Lok Sabha segments.
