The Supreme Court of India has issued notices to the Central Government over the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation. Ex-cm Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP MP CM Ramesh, YSRCP MP Mekapati and few others petitions were heard by Justice Dattu and a three member panel. After thorough examination, Supreme issued notices.

However the apex court rejected to issue stay on the bifurcation and asked the Center to reply for the notice in written format. Based on the reply, Supreme is expected to take further steps.
