Andhra Pradesh former chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy opted out of election battle and preferred to fight for the Jai Samaikyandhra Party candidates. Everyone expected that Kiran would contest from Pileru constituency and was in the town to file nomination but in the last minute, Kiran pulled himself out and roped his brother Kishore.
Kishore Reddy filed nomination for Pileru constituency in the presence of Kiran and speaking to the media, Kiran said, “I'm not here for posts, my true fight for united Andhra Pradesh doesn't require anything and I will fight like a common man.”
This is major sensation but political analysts say that Kiran is not a popular leader and not a crowd puller. Moreover all the political parties have roped strong candidates in Kiran's constituency and this might be one of the reason for his back step.
