TRS wants only power: Rahul Gandhi

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi who took part in election campaign in Telangana region lambasted the TRS party right away. Addressing the Mahboobnagar meeting Rahul said, “Congress fulfilled the 60 years of Telangana dream. TRS party was nowhere when the Telangana bill was getting shaped and now it wants to win the elections for power. TRS went back on its words of merging it with Congress and making a Dalit as CM. Now they can cheat people by not fulfilling the promises that they doing before elections.”

Before the meeting, Telangana Congress leaders welcomed the Rahul Gandhi in grand manner. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jaipal Reddy, DK Aruna, Ponnala, Jana Reddy graced the event. Rahul paid homage to professor Jayashankar and Konda Lakshman Bapuji before stepping into the stage.

Mahboobnagar Lok Sabha Congress candidate Jaipal Reddy praised Rahul Gandhi as youth icon. “Rahul Gandhi never talks in a rush, he aptly represents the present generation. TRS party doesn't has any direction and don't know what it actually whats. Only Congress can provide stable governance and Telangana development is possible with Congress,” added Jaipal Reddy.

Rahul then left to Nizambad district where he will be campaigning for former PCC Chief D Srinivas at Ditchpalli.
