The Telangana government which has announced comprehensive household survey on August 19th has hit the weddings slated in the state on the very same day. Yesterday in Karimnagar, CM KCR has asserted that people who fail to register their details as part of the survey will miss out government privileges and urged the people to stay at their respective homes at any cost. KCR also asked the people to postpone all the important events like weddings etc. on August 19th and added that he would also stay in home.
“This is household survey is very important one and I request the people to remain in homes, postpone all the important meetings. I request the media persons also to go back to their homes and provide necessary details to the government,” said KCR. Being an auspicious Telugu month, many weddings in the state have been already planned and we have to see whether Telangana people will obey KCR's appeal.
On the other hand, KCR did not comment anything on the EAMCET counselling issue and said that his government is ready with its arguments on August 11th.
