The National capital will head to elections as all party reject to form government in the meeting with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. BJP, the single largest party was asked to form government but it declined and sources say that Jung will send his recommendation to the President for dissolving the assembly any time.
Delhi LG has called for an all party meeting in the wake of Supreme Court's deadline to report to it regarding the government formation by November 11 and also explore possibilities to form a government in the national capital which is in suspension mode since this February. However, the centre of discussion is BJP declining to form government. According to the insiders, it was the central leadership of BJP which is reluctant to form government in Delhi and wants to go for fresh elections, cash Modi's charisma. BJP is confident of forming government in Delhi this time and one of the leader said, BJP would get at least 47 seats this time.
Meanwhile AAP has welcomed the decision and is getting ready for preparation. AAP government lasted for 49 days but there were no major changes made. But it will be tough fight for the Aam Aadmi because, it has to seek votes from the people for second time and we have to see what will be the people's verdict. Congress is still struggling and it would be a litmus test for the party to retain whatever seats it has won recently.
