Sharad Pawar, the National Congress Party chief has been airlifted from national capital New Delhi to Mumbai in an air ambulance on Wednesday morning, after he had fell down at his Janpath residence. Sharad Power has suffered several injuries to his hip and legs, where he had arrived at the domestic airport in Vile Parle at around 11.20am.
Pawar, the 73-year-old NCP leader reportedly suffered injuries in his leg and back. He was admitted in Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Pawer’s wife Pratibha and daughter Supriya Sule are accompanying him in Breach Candy Hospital at Bhulabhai Desai Road. According to sources, Pawar was lying down on the stretcher throughout the journey from Delhi to Mumbai, which it was suffering from severe pain on his back.
Pawar is a three-time chief minister of Maharashtra and a former Union minister under UPA Government. He is currently a member of Rajya Sabha.
