A Hindu temple has been vandalised with hate speech in US which prompted a outrage from the Hindu community in the Western Washington. Some unidentified persons sprayed swasthik symbol and painted “Get Out' on the temple wall which is located in Seattle Metropolitan area which is one of the largest Hindu temples in the entire North West. This incident was brought to the light a day before the celebration of Great Night of Lord Shiva.
The culprits also wrote the same on a nearby school and this time they have targeted the muslims community. The temple and Skyview Junior High school brought this to the notice of police. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the vandalism at the temple while Bothell police are looking at the school case.
The Hindu American Foundation [HAF] has condemned this incident while the chairman of board of trustee of the Hindu Temple and Cultural Centre, Bothell, Nitya Niranjan they are working with the Bothell police department in bring justice in this issue.
