For cleaning the sewage water of Hussain Sagar, the traffic restrictions and diversions were imposed on Tank bund from 22nd to 31st of May. On the specified dates, no vehicles will be allowed, so the government decided to divert the traffic to other routes, here is the detailed list of those diversion routes.

Traffic restrictions and diversions from Tank Bund:
 
Traffic that comes from Telugu thalli towards upper Tank bund will be diverted towards Necklace rotary, PV Ghat, Nallagutta and Karbala, Rani Gunj. It should be noted that not traffic will be permitted towards Upper Tank bund from Ambedkar statue towards sailing club

Traffic coming from Katta Maisamma towards Children Park will be diverted at Vaartha lane towards Indira Park. No traffic will be allowed towards DBR mills from Vaartha lane.
   
Traffic is restricted towards the Upper Tank bund which is coming from Liberty via Ambedkar statue. It will be diverted to Telugu talli Necklace rotary, PV Ghat, Nallagutta and Karbala towards Secunderabad.  

Traffic that is coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted towards Bible House, Kavadiguda, Lower Tank bund.
   
If the traffic needs to go to Upper Tank bund from there, it will be allowed via Kavadiguda.

On the other side, traffic that is coming from R.P. Road towards Karbala Maidan will be diverted at Bible House towards Kavadiguda, Lower Tank Bund. So this is a critical diversion, so the citizens are requested to be aware of it.

RTC buses diversions

RTC buses in the city will follow the above diversions. But coming to the district buses and heavy vehicles that come from Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) will be diverted towards YMCA Junction-Sangeeth-Tarnaka -O.U -MGBS and same route will be followed in return journey too.  

The public is requested to be aware of all these restrictions and diversions and act accordingly.
