You might have heard of ice pieces faling down from the sky, during the rain. But have you ever heard of heavy rocks falling from the sky? Yes, such heavy rocks are regularly falling down in a tribal area of Nizamabad district.  
   
Getting into the details, the people of a small tribal area called Chinna Gutta Thanda, in Peddagujjal panchayithi limits, Gandhari mandal, Nizamabad district, are threatened by the heavy rocks rain, for quite some time. Due to this, the tribal area is almost getting vacant day by day, as the threatened people are vacating the place.  

What is the reason for heavy rocks rain?

“A small water dam was constructed in Chinna Gutta Thanda in the past. Since then, this rock rain started in the area,”the locales say. But the people are not sure of the exact location, from where the rocks are rolling down. Along with two to three locales, guests who visited the place, also lost their lives in this rock rain.

As the situations started turning worse, a few of the people met a person, who deals the cases like these. Upon consulting him, the locales came to know that, there is some ghost hidden among the tribals. After knowing that, most of the people completely vacated the place. Since then, that area is considered as haunted place.

Officials mum on the rocks rain issue

Inspite of the area getting vacated, no officials seems to be concerned about it. Till date, no official from Nizamabad, came forward to spread an awareness to the people, saying their beliefs are superstitious or at least tried to solve the rocks rain issue.

However, it would be better, if the officials react atleast now and clear the fear among the tribals in Chinna Gutta Thanda. Otherwise the situations are going to be more worse in the future.
