It seems YSRCP president Jagan is following KCR strategy during the Telangana state movement, now for special status too.
How crucial was the role of the Osmania University students, during the Telangana state movement is well known. Telangana state Chief Minister KCR, strengthened the University students, with his attractive speeches.
Many of the students even lost their lives, burning themselves for the declaration of the separate state and finally it was they, who made Telangana possible and also made KCR as Chief Minister, who was won with a bumper majority in the elections.
Now the special status issue, turned viral for Andhra Pradesh. In spite of the several attempts by conducting strikes, protests and ‘Deeksha’, by the state government, the centre is still remaining mum.
This is turning as the reason for YSRCP leaders, for conducting various protests and strikes on both the state and the central governments. After conducting such protests, now Jagan is planning to take a bit bigger step.

Jagan is going to walk in KCR shoes for getting the special status. If KCR strengthened Osmania University students, Jagan is targeting Tirupathi, Sri Venkateshwara University students.
Regarding this, Jagan participated in ‘Yuva Sadassu’ programme, conducted at the university, whose theme is to discuss about the AP special status, employment opportunities and state development. Speaking at the meeting, Jagan said that, the students should know about the benefits, the state is going to get, through the special status and, thus inspire others for joining the fight for the special status.
Special status: Targeting NU, with Rishiteshwari as a weapon!
Along with Venkateshwara University, the YSRCP leaders are even concentrating on Nagarjuna University and regarding this, they are using Rishiteshwari suicide issue, as a weapon. Already, YSRCP MLA Roja, along with her team, visited the university and trying to inject the special status fever to the students, by promising to solve Rishiteshwari case, by punishing the culprits involved.
It seems, YSRCP leaders are trying to corner AP state government by reminding them about the lack of employment opportunities, special status and many other issues. Moreover, Jagan is going to conduct ‘Deeksha’ soon on the special status and for this, he might be using the student’s power.
Whatever be the route, if special status is declared for the AP state, that itself would be a right celebration time for the state leaders and also the normal people.
