I was kidnapped by police-like people- Hardik Patel

Hardik Patel said that, he was kidnapped by some people, who pretended to be police, after he was left by those people.

As discussed earlier, Hardik Patel was found missing in the past and regarding this, a habeas corpus petition was filed by Hardik aides. It was then Gujarat high court took the issue serious and said to find him, treating him as the citizen of the country.

Upon the issue went viral, the officials started searching him and they found him on Wednesday evening, on a highway near Dhrangadhra, Gujarat. Then, speaking to the media, Hardik Patel said that, the people, who pretended to be police, had kidnapped and detained him, during the night, and then abandoned him on the highway road.

No kidnap, nothing, Hardik is playing prank- Officials

However, a few of the officials denied Hardik statements about kidnap, and said that, he is doing this only for the publicity and added that, Hardik even called his mother last night to say that he was safe.

Responding to this, on Wednesday evening, Hardik said that, there is no need for him to play any prank and confirmed strictly that, he was thoroughly cornered and kidnapped by the people pretending to be police.

Kidnap case will be filed, but do not know what court says- Hardik lawyer

On the other hand, Hardik's lawyer, B M Mangukiya said, “A kidnapping and illegal detention case would be filed, but the response to it might wait, as there is no idea of what decision the high court takes. The court may put an end to the case, as Hardik was released, but it is to be noted that, Hardik was released somewhere around 150 km away from his place. He was threatened by the people, who possess guns.”

Meanwhile, Hardik Patel will appear in Gujarat high court, in response to the petition filed earlier alleging that the police had illegally detained him and might even kill him in an encounter.
