Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu invited Telangana Chief Minister KCR for Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony and the former gave his assurance to attend the celebrations.
On October 22nd, Andhra Pradesh state is going to witness its historical occasion, by celebrating the foundation stone laying ceremony. As per the protocol, Naidu is personally inviting all the state Chief Ministers and other ministers are inviting other biggies in the various states for Amaravathi ceremony.
Regarding this, yesterday Naidu met KCR at his camp office and invited him for the occassion.
The duo meet went viral among the political circles and raised many buzzes. The reason behind this range of significance for the meet is, the duo state Chief Ministers met for the first time officially, after the sensational cash for vote scandal took place.
Amaravathi ceremony overtook cash for vote
Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed allegedly bribing Telangana nominated MLA Stephenson, during Telangana MLC elections. The whole issue was recorded through a video. Revanth Reddy was arrested on the spot and faced several inquires, interrogations and finally came out, after his petition was granted.
Not stopping there, KCR continuously started hunting Naidu and his government in several other occasions. When the complete state is celebrating Telangana one year anniversary along with KCR, he even celebrated it, digging the well for Naidu, by leaking his phone conversation with Stephenson.
So, since then, Naidu faced several problems from Telangana government and is still facing the criticisms from the YSRCP party officials too, on the phone tapping issue. It was then thought that, Naidu and KCR might not meet in the near future.
But finally, Amaravathi made it possible. KCR said that, he would be visiting Kanakadurga temple first, to present a golden nose ring to the deity for fulfilling the TRS’ long-cherished dream of a separate state and later attend Amaravathi ceremony.
Along with inviting for the ceremony, Naidu even discussed few other issues like, linking of rivers and waterways of the two states.
Naidu told KCR that it would be beneficial for both the Telugu states, if they worked together towards the industrial corridors of Amaravati-Hyderabad-Mumbai and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru, on par with the Delhi-Mumbai, Bangalore-Chennai-Visakhapatnam and Delhi-Kolkata industrial corridors.
However, finally, the political circles and dual states people, were thrilled at the CMs meet and hope the relation continues for ever and thus support each other for the development of the dual Telugu states.
