MLA Roja strongly criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, for his comments about the growth rate of AP state.  

In the recently held Warangal by-polls, it is known that, all the opposition parties, could not even get the basic deposits. Each party leader is trying his best, to mask up the defeat.

Taking Naidu’s strategy into consideration, he said that Andhra Pradesh growth rate has risen to 15%.

Targeting the comment, YSRCP MLA Roja said, “China has 7.40%, which is considered as the highest growth rate and even the national figures are at 5.6 %. In this situation, Andhra Pradesh government is trying to bluff the people, saying that, they achieved 15 % growth rate in the state.

“Comparing the sum of goods and services produced during the year, with the previous year, determines the growth rate. But in Andhra Pradesh, farmers’ loans are not waived and so, their situation is pathetic.”  

“Hundreds of acres of cultivable land was given to the land mafia and it is clearly evident that, there is financial crisis in the state. At this stage, I don’t understand where did Chandrababu Naidu discovered 15% growth,” Roja said.

Roja comments cannot be neglected!

Roja comments about the growth rate cannot be put aside. It is well known that, AP is facing severe crisis and is in bad need of funds. Firstly Amaravati capital construction has turned as a big target. The government is trying in all possible ways to pool the funds for it.

Moreover, though government could waive a part of the loans, there are farmers, who is  still waiting for their turn, to get out of the loans.

In this position, achieving growth rate, that too 15%, seems very tough. The analysts opine that, Naidu’s comments on growth rate is just to mask up the horrible defeat of TDP-BJP candidate Devaiah in the recent Warangal by-poll.
