The Election Commission (EC) warned IT minister KTR, for allegedly influencing the other party leaders, for making them join TRS party.
It is known that, TRS government has started ‘Operation Akarsh’ in the past and started attracting the other party leaders into TRS. Generally, this type of activity would not have any problems, other than criticisms of the opposition parties, which are inevitable.
But performing such activities, after releasing the election schedule, surely invites the EC warning. The same thing took place in KTR’s matter.
It was known that, a few of the oppositions in the past, have complained against KTR, saying that he is crossing the rules and inviting the other party leaders into TRS. Regarding this, Election Commission already sent notices to KTR.
Responding to the same, KTR said that, he was not influencing any leader and not even invited anyone into the party, after the election schedule was out.
“Various ZPTCs and MPTCs are meeting me to release the funds for the road repairing works and I am assuring to release those. There was nothing beyond I spoke to them,” KTR said to EC.
But it seems, EC, who did not get satisfied with KTR’s reply, said that, he crossed the rules of EC and strictly warned not to repeat the same in the future.
After the formation of the separate state of Telangana, TRS managed to win in all the elections held, while the oppositions had to face tough time, to get the deposits. This hilarious victory had raised several doubts among the oppositions and speculated that, the party is influencing the voters and threatening the other party leaders.
There is no valid proof to prove the statement and reacting to the same, a few of the TRS leaders denied the comments saying that, they are just made to defame the government in the state.
