Reportedly, a mass grave of about 100 dead bodies was uncovered in ISIS (Syria’s eastern province of Deir al-Zour), yesterday.

The 100 people were shot dead by the Islamic State (IS) group, the local news channel reported. The residents of Mrat town in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour uncovered the mass grave, which is about seven kms away from the town.

It is unfortunate to know that even children are part of the 100 dead bodies found.   
 
Throughout the conflict in Syria, the ISIS has committed many massacres. The people have found another mass grave of a number of bodies in the town of Kshaikeh, east of Deir al-Zour.

The local news channel reported earlier in the day that, about 100 IS militants had been killed over the past 24 hours during battles with the Syrian army in Deir al-Zour.

From the military sources, it was further found out that, the Syrian air force carried out several air strikes against the IS positions, in the town of Hussainyeh, in the western countryside of Deir al-Zour, completely destroying them.

The warplanes of Syria further struck IS-held areas in the eastern countryside of the oil-rich province, near Iraq.

The military campaign in Deir al-Zour is part of a broader offensive, the Syrian army has unleashed against militant groups, across the country.

Opining that, nothing will stop the military offensive against terrorist groups in Syria, the Syrian officials said that, the diplomatic efforts to solve the Syrian crisis and countering terrorism are two separate tracks.

At least 250,000 lives were claimed because of this long running conflict and even made several people, to move away from their residences.
