Youth murdered in moving car in Bengaluru

Seven member gang allegedly killed a 23 year old youth named Madesh, in a moving car in Bengaluru.

After arresting the gang, the police spoke about the issue saying that, the attackers abandoned the body near Sarakki Gate, in the early hours of Sunday.

All the seven members of the gang were unemployed and are the residents of Ganapathi Nagar. They are identified as Shivakumar, Punith, Bharath, Sachin, Putta, Lokesh, Rajini.

Around 9.30 pm, on Saturday, Madesh and his brother were consuming alcohol at an isolated place near their house in Veereshwaranagar. Shivakumar, the prime accused, who happened to pass by, told them not to drink in a public place.

That led to severe argument and Madesh later hit Shivakumar on his head, police added.

Shivakumar who could not take this, returned back at 11.30 pm along with his friends, and bundled Madesh into a car and took him near Sarakki gate. In the moving car itself, the gang repeatedly stabbed him and dumped the body near Eashwari bus stop and fled.

The police received an alert and identified the body. The issue then came into the light, at around 3 am on Sunday.

Following the complaint filed by Madesh’s brother, the police detained Shivakumar and upon conducting the strict interrogation, he accepted the crime and upon his information, even the other six members involved, were arrested.
